We celebrated the engagement of Tucker and Dallas by meeting at their 2024 wedding venue located in Cape Charles, Virginia. This venue was stunning, situated right on the bay with a historic barn and estate surrounded by fields as far as the eye can see.
Let's start with some fun facts. I met Dallas at Cyclebar Greengate in Richmond, VA when I lived there. Life got busy and we lost touch but one day I heard from Dallas, in all her excitement, wanting more information on how to become a Juls Photo & Co Bride. We met for coffee on a blistering cold day with snow and harsh winds to chat about all the details. My favorite part was her giant smile the whole time. She spoke so highly of Tucker and painted a beautiful picture of their lives together.
Fast forward to October 1, 2023 and here we were standing in the field at the gorgeous venue, Mimosa Barn, basking in the moment as we stare at the fine details. Memorable features from the venue were the long driveways through fields, the bright white barn, pampas grass, historic grand estate, courtyard around the back of the property, private dock and all of this being kissed by the Chesapeake Bay around every edge of the property. No wonder these two chose the venue to tie the knot.
These two absolutely nailed this session. Tucker knew what I wanted before I even got my words out. Dallas brought all the hype. A perfect combination of all the things needed for an authentic and joyful gallery. We made our way around the landscape, utilizing their favorite characteristics of the space. This day, believe it or not, was the first day that Tucker and I officially met. However, he was not shy in front of the camera *at all* which was a fantastic perk to this first impression! I can't wait for the big day to come along!!
