These two hold a special place in my heart, my brother and new sister! It was truly an honor to see the emotion and memories shared that day.

The quaint town of Heiskell, Tennessee, nestled in the heart of the Volunteer State, played host to a picturesque wedding on October 21, 2023. The vibrant autumn foliage provided a stunning backdrop for the union of two souls in love. From the country charm of the venue to the heartfelt vows exchanged, this wedding was a celebration to remember. Tucked away in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains, Heiskell is known for its natural beauty, and this wedding fully embraced the charm of the town. The couple chose The Poarch Manor, a serene and charming venue surrounded by the signature rolling hills of East Tennessee and stunning views. The weather on this October day was absolutely perfect, with a warm, golden sun casting a magical glow over the entire ceremony.

Stephen and Heather embraced the warm, earthy tones of autumn for their wedding décor. Rich emerald greens, delicate golds, and fragile pinks were used throughout, creating a unique and inviting atmosphere. The tables were adorned with elegant centerpieces featuring seasonal flowers like roses, babies breath, hydrangeas and snapdragons.

Their ceremony took place in a garden setting, with a beautiful wooden arch covered with flowers serving as the backdrop. The bride, resplendent in a very elegant, but spicy gown with a long train, made her grand entrance escorted by her father. The groom, dapper in a classic black suit, awaited her under the arch. As the couple exchanged their heartfelt vows, there wasn't a dry eye in the audience, including myself. Imagine trying to see your camera to take important photos but be teary eyed and struggling to see, ha! The officiant's words resonated with the beauty of love and commitment.

Following the ceremony, guests moved to the barn for the reception. The venue was decorated with candlelight, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere for the evening festivities. Delicious southern dishes were served, featuring local Tennessee cuisine, and the wedding cake was a masterpiece in itself. The couple opted for custom cupcakes for individual enjoyment amongst the wedding guests, LOVE THIS DECISION!

Music filled the air as the newlyweds took to the dance floor for their first dance as a married couple. My friends, this was impressive and 100% customized. I learned they had been taking dance classes twice a week leading up to the wedding and let me tell you,,,it showed! Friends and family joined in, celebrating the union with joy and laughter. The evening continued with heartfelt toasts and speeches, highlighting the love and support the couple had from their loved ones. Yes, I cried. Everyone cried.

The couple paid attention to every detail, making their wedding a personal and meaningful celebration. One thing I appreciated is how thoughtful Heather was in her moments leading up to the ceremony. She included all the special people in her life so perfectly.
