These two love birds had their engagement session at their wedding venue, The Shiloh, that is tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Lowgap, NC.

Josh and Andrea (plus their adorable pup named Opal) had their engagement session at their 2024 wedding venue called The Shiloh. The two of them are seriously cute together. I loved watching the way they interact, the little giggles from Andrea and the genuine smiles from Josh were the first thing I noticed. My favorite part, once they get comfortable around the camera and the goofiness comes out. These two make a well blended, healthy relationship and it was immediately apparent to me once I met them. Opal, their bernedoodle, was full of energy and so.much.cuteness.

Engagements sessions are a staple in the wedding photography process as it allows the couple and myself to bond, get to know each other and experience the process before the wedding day. It allows for a much more natural and relaxed atmosphere behind the camera on the most important day!

Let's talk about how absolutely scenic and picturesque this new venue is...I was blown away by the view first. Then, I saw the new barn inspired venue that incorporates both modern and traditional design values which made an unorthodox but still perfect first impression. One of Andrea's favorite parts of the venue is the stunning stained glass you can see in these images below. It is such a beautiful blend on industrial, traditional, modern and timeless. What more could you ask for? No wonder they chose this location for their wedding day.
