These two are the cutest couple ever and so much fun in front of the camera. Newly engaged in November, Nick and Skyler now have this gorgeous early spring, planned elopement gallery to swoon over.
Ok first things first, basically they are natural models, ha! These two were undeniably fun, went with the flow and perfectly embodied what I consider to be free spirits. I mean, totally doing any pose us photogs threw at them and nailing it 100% makes for a stunning gallery. Lets talk about the dress, flirty and modest at the same time?! The bouquet was a show stopper with the beautiful blooms and occasional eucalyptus. Nick was dapper in his perfectly fitted suit and matching florals.
One thing I absolutely loved that made this gallery so cohesive but still interesting is the neutral yet unique location of this planned elopement. The New Hanover Courthouse is a considerably large structure with spectacular columns and iron work surrounding the staircases. As you can see, it is also surrounded by the very fragrant and splendid blooming trees, a part of the New Hanover Tree Initiative project. Add in some flair with the historic light poles, American flag and clocktower and you've got yourself a flawless venue.
Back to the featured couple, the love between these two was displayed subtly by the details like Nick gently swooping Skyler's hair from her face when the wind blew a little too hard. Like Skyler gazing into Nick's eyes during certain pose prompts. There are so many other details most would overlook, but editing this gallery had me so enthralled with how focused they were on each other.
These two have so much life ahead of them together. Nick and Skyler, thank you for being champs in the chilly weather and congratulations!
